Keiichi “Nishi” Nishimura, 84, of Naalehu died May 22, 2013, at a private care home in Keaau. Born in Pahala, he was a retired garage supervisor for the former Hutchinson Sugar Co. and Ka‘u Agribusiness, a World War II Army veteran and member of Naalehu Hongwanji Mission, ILWU and Ka‘u Golf Club.

Private services were held. Family requests no flowers of monetary gifts.

He is survived by sons, Keith (Etsuko) Nishimura of Tokyo, Ned (Gail) Nishimura of Pahala; brother, Hisaji Nishimura of Los Angeles; sisters, Eloise (Robert) Fujino of Kona, Naomi Studley of Los Angeles; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
